My Semester Blog: Samantha Hudson
Hello! My name is Samantha Hudson; I am currently a junior in college at Athen State University (GO BEARS!!! #PAWSUP), and when I grow up, I want to be a teacher in a upper elementary Learning Center. I am currently a Paraprofessional in the classroom that I love and loving every second of it, even the hard ones. With everything I have going on, I wish I had time for my own interest, but I truly don't. Being a fulltime employee, fulltime mom to three, fulltime wife and caregiver to my partial quadriplegic husband, as well as a fulltime college student doesn't really leave much time for anything else.
In signing up for this class I was not really sure what I was signing up for but when I saw that the name of the class what "Foundations of Education" I had high hopes for just that. I am hoping that within this class I can gain some knowledge, input, and tips that will aid in my success throughout my time here at Athens State. Learning from the faculty and growing my relationship with them seems like a great way to start my time in the University world.
To inspire my adventure in special education, there is a quote from Vincent Van Gogh that I love. I feel that this quote from this amazing man goes perfectly in the world of special education. Normality is something that we may attempt in this world, but who really cares, let's make flowers grow!
