A Good Teacher Needs to Be...      According to Chapter 1, there are FIVE different QUALITIES  that all teachers need to have in order to be successful. In this blog post I will be doing a self-reflection and deciding if these are traits that I already possess, or if they are things I need to learn to have. I know that in all of these things, even if I do have the traits already, I will be working to improve myself to be better in them because there is always room for improvement. So, what are these five traits? My Semester Blog: Samantha Hudson     Hello!  My name is Samantha Hudson; I am currently a junior in college at Athen State University (GO BEARS!!! #PAWSUP) , and when I grow up, I want to be a teacher in a upper elementary Learning Center. I am currently a Paraprofessional in the classroom that I love and loving every second of it, even the hard ones. With everything I have going on, I wish I had time for my own interest, but I truly don't. Being a fulltime employee, fulltime mom to three, fulltime wife and caregiver to my partial quadriplegic husband, as well as a fulltime college student doesn't really leave much time for anything else.       In signing up for this class I was not really sure what I was signing up for but when I saw that the name of the class what "Foundations of Education" I had high hopes for just that.
